Dorothy Minor

A celebration of life for Dorothy Rose Minor of Marysville will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at the home of Kasey and Kelly Maves, 5363 Swindon in Rocklin. For more information, call 272-5313.

Mrs. Minor died Wednesday, Aug. 25, in Yuba City. She was 83.

She was born Dec. 23, 1920, in Decatur, Ill., to Fred and Rose Wohosky. She married Carl Minor on Oct. 20, 1940, in San Francisco. She was a resident of Grass Valley from 1970 to 1980.



She is survived by her husband, Carl Minor of Marysville; sons Dan Minor of Marysville and Martin Minor of Grass Valley; sisters Virginia Souza of Auburn, and Rose Marie Daugherty of Phoenix, Ariz.; and brother, Robert Wohosky of Victorville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Rose Wohosky.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
