The following obituary is being reprinted to correct information about services:

Memorial services for Dorothy Ellen Fink of Grass Valley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Grass Valley Church of Nazarene.

Mrs. Fink died Friday, Jan. 30, at home in Grass Valley. She was 81.



She was born Dec. 7, 1922, in Falls City, Ore., to John and Ethel Teal. She married Victor Fink in 1940 in Vancouver, Wash. They moved to Grass Valley in 1955. She worked as a nurse at the Jones Hospital in Grass Valley, and during the 1970s she and her husband owned and operated a local taxi cab company, retiring in 1980.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Victor; children Victor Fink Jr. of Sierra City, Larry Fink of Grass Valley, Wyona Kirchmeier of Roseville and Dorothy “Dolly” Heins of Soma; brother, Orval Teal of Dallas, Ore.; grandchildren Vernon, Dale, Debbra, Dustin, Derrick, Cynthia, Jeffrey, Jodey, Jarret, Eddie, Susan, Deborah, Loyd, Michael, Sarah, Edward and Susan; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Chester, Kenneth and Carl Teal.




Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
