Doolittle rejects children’s health care

Our Rep. John Doolittle was one of just 13 votes blocking the House of Representatives from achieving the two-thirds majority necessary to override President Bush’s veto regarding the State Children’s Health Insurance Program.

Just this week, a CBS poll showed that 8 in 10 Americans support the kids’ health care plan Bush vetoed – including the overwhelming majority of Republicans! The American people are clearly for funding this program – now we just need to get that across to Rep. Doolittle.
