Don Drievold

Memorial services for Don Drievold of Auburn will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chapel of the Hills in Auburn.

Mr. Drievold died Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital. He was 56.

He was born Nov. 6, 1945, in West Union, Iowa. He and his family moved to Grass Valley in 1952. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970 as a sergeant stationed in Germany. He lived with his wife, Lolly, in Auburn for the past 29 years. He worked for many years as a truck driver and later owned Don’s 49er Window Cleaning Service. He was a longtime member of the Auburn Moose Lodge. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lolly of Auburn; daughter, Shelley of Auburn; sisters Donna Decker of Grass Valley, Wanda Pollak of Grass Valley and Karen Bellus of Red Bluff; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sierra Nevada Foundation, Diabetes Education Fund, P.O. Box 1810, Grass Valley 95945.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Hills.
