Dishonest ones

The dishonest are the ones calling our president dishonest. I served in the Army Reserves and the National Guard for 21 years. We were never called up to active duty. You do not have to attend every guard or reserve meeting to meet your obligation.

I resent anyone calling our president a liar or failing to meet his military obligation. To say that it is irrelevant to publicly affirm documents the experts say are fraudulent is to buy into the moral depravity of Bill Clinton: “If you say it often enough, people will believe you.”

Mr. Kerry, on the other hand, is a liar. He claimed one Purple Heart for a scratch from firing his own weapon when there were no hostilities, a Purple Heart requirement. He was never in Cambodia, as he claimed, as reported by his own crew members, and accusations of atrocities he made against his fellow servicemen were lies.

Would you hire a man who only wants you to evaluate his resume of four months service from 30 years ago (which turns out to be full of inaccuracies), but wants you to ignore the last 20 years of his life?
