DiPillo Appointed to Board of Directors

Hank DiPillo
ALL | GrassValleyArchive

A man in our community to emulate is Hank DiPillo.

As a member of a Chamber of Commerce for over 28 years, and as Chairman of the Ambassador Group of the Grass Valley Nevada County Chamber of Commerce for two years, Hank serves our community well.

Recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Chamber, Hank’s focus for 2003 will include his work on refining the projects and goals of the Board in an effort to work more effectively on fewer projects while maintaining a higher degree of focus on each.

Hank believes everyone in a community has the obligation to give something back. That may be through membership in service clubs, non-profit organizations, or other chosen involvement.

Hank’s choice is the Chamber because it is on the front line of community activity. In addition, “Being a Chamber Ambassador is both rewarding and fun” he admits.

Hank and his wife Karen have always been community minded. Part of a family that dates back over 40 years in this area, Hank has been a Realtor in our county for over 12 years.

Along with his Chamber involvement, he was chairman and advisor for the Sierra College Small Business Development Center. He also served as a Senior Advisor to the California Small Business Resource Center.

His professional background includes being a sales manager for a large residential commercial builder, being a former Bank executive and a business owner for 15 years. Karen is a Special Education teacher at Bear River High School and an advisor for the Friday Night Live Club; she also coordinates the teacher mentoring program.

Several of Hank’s many clients have commented,”We were thankful to find an agent such as Hank who exemplifies excellence in character and devotion to his clients” (Paul and Becky Hudson, Penn Valley). “To Hank Real Estate is not a job, it’s a calling. We always knew what was going on with our escrow” (Gordon and Dianne Haney, Grass Valley). “We feel your knowledge, understanding, patience and willingness to assist us in any way necessary made our purchase far easier and more pleasant than we would have thought possible” (Debora and Kevin Wright, Grass Valley).

A member of the team of professionals at Alta Sierra GMAC Real Estate, Hank is committed to full service with integrity for all his clients. Hank admits “I strive to give my clients more than they expect. I take my responsibility seriously both as a Realtor and as a committed volunteer in our community.”
