Dick Frazer

Visitation for Dick George Frazer of Cedar Ridge will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Nevada City chapel of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Grass Valley. A reception will follow at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Osborne Hill Road and Highway 174.

Mr. Frazer died Thursday, Feb. 17. He was 75.

He was born Jan. 9, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Ida and Sid Kunkle. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1948. He was a retired owner/operator of Dick Frazer Trucking and worked at Pioneer Saw Works until his illness.



He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Anita Frazer; sons Mike, Rick, Randy, Richard, and Eric Frazer; daughters Debbie Marson and Kim Frazer; sisters and brothers-in-law Pat and Jerry Duwe of Ukiah, Sue and Bud Beitz of Texas and Donna and Lenord Sauer of Nevada City; brothers and sisters-in-law Don and Joy Frazer of Boonville and Jim and Jean Richardson of Grass Valley; sisters-in-law Kathy Richardson, and Delores Trest, both of Texas, and Gloria Caselli of Grass Valley; 21 nephews; nine nieces; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Kunkle, in 1972; father, Sid Kunkle, in 1960; and mother-in-law, Jessie Richardson, in 2000.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills or Cancer Thrift.
