Dever offered full ride to Fresno State

Nevada Union senior offensive tackle Taylor Dever got some good news this week, when Fresno State head football coach Pat Hill extended an invitation to join the Bulldogs.

According to NU head coach Dave Humphers, Dever got the call Thursday night with a full-ride scholarship offer to the NCAA Division I school.

Dever, a 6-foot, 6-inch, 300-pound senior, has received interest from schools across the country.

If Hill were to land Dever as a recruit, he would be the second Miner to become a Bulldog in the past two years. Andrew Jackson, who helped lead Nevada Union to a Division I section championship alongside Dever, is a redshirt freshman at FSU.
