Dennis Dunham

Memorial services for Dennis Dustin “Dusty” Dunham of Grass Valley will be conducted at 4 p.m. March 13, at Calvary Bible Church in Grass Valley.

Mr. Dunham died Sunday, Feb. 19, after a long battle with cancer. He was 46.

He was born Sept. 18, 1959, at Miner’s Hospital in Nevada City, to David and Glenda (Thomas) Dunham. He attended local schools and graduated from Nevada Union High School. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, singing in the church choir, and making other people laugh. He had a variety of jobs, but his favorite was driving the Gold Country Stage.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia of Grass Valley; parents, David and Glenda Dunham of Sequim, Wash.; daughters Cassie Dunham of San Jose, Carena Dunham of Paradise, and Erin Dunham of San Francisco; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Maria and Jason Ryberg of Grass Valley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Jim Sagadin of Brookings, Ore., and Donna and Paul Nies of Cedar Ridge; sister, Debra Dunham of Sequim, Wash.; brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Lisa Dunham of Nevada City; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
