Definition of lying

According to ol’ Dan’l Webster, to lie is to deliberately tell a falsehood. Beats me how John Kerry can continually accuse President Bush of doing so regarding the WMDs. Only thing George Bush is guilty of is trusting the judgment of those he should have been able to trust in intelligence matters.

Contrast that with the “CBS papers.” Evidence is mounting that some on the liberal Democratic side went to enormous lengths to deliberately falsify info against an opponent. Scary to contemplate these kinds of individuals in strategic governmental positions.

Ironic, too, isn’t it, that the Dems are stressing the importance of character this time around, yet during Bill Clinton”s tenure their mantra was “Character ” Doesn’t ” Matter”? Oh, my, you don’t suppose we have yet one more flip-flop, flip-flop, flip-flop…?
