David Coon

Visitation for family and friends of David Wayne Coon of Fairfield will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday at the Bryan-Braker Funeral Home in Fairfield. Services will be conducted there at 6 p.m. Friday and be officiated by Steve Lessler.

Mr. Coon died Friday, Sept. 27, at North Bay Medical Center in Fairfield. He was 52.



He was born Dec. 30, 1949, in Janesville, Wis. He had lived in Fairfield for 25 years. He was a commercial and industrial electrician for 26 years.

He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 302 and the Gold Prospectors of America. He was a master woodworker and enjoyed gold prospecting and California Indian and local history. He was also an accomplished golfer.




He is survived by his sons Joshua Coon of Cedar Ridge and Jacob Coon of San Diego; brothers Stephen and Robert Coon, both of Janesville, and Tim Coon of Footville, Wis.; sister, Susan Leoni of Rockford, Ill.; and close friend Pamela Montgomery of Cedar Ridge.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Bryan-Braker Funeral Home in Fairfield.
