When you’ve already lived more than half a life,

What is enough to know?

What is landscape enough to tend?

By now, isn’t full disclosure

more attitude than an accounting

of all the traumas and achievements?

Is it deception to let

the real estate show itself,

for the client to paint his own

potential across the walls?

To allow the bones of the place

to share what they will,

and the ghosts of former tenants

to sleep on?
