A memorial service for Cynthia Ann Campbell of Grass Valley will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Nevada City chapel of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.

Mrs. Campbell died Thursday, Jan. 13, at a local medical facility. She was 49.

She was born Jan. 21, 1955, in North Hollywood to William and Lois Mae Seymour Keseley. She attended St. Genevive Catholic School in Southern California. She married Jerry Tennies Jr. in 1973 and Rodney Campbell in 2000.

Mrs. Campbell enjoyed rock hunting, crystal digging, and crafts. She also enjoyed spending time at the Yuba River.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney Campbell of Grass Valley; daughter Amy Tennies of Nevada City, son Andrew Tennies of Nevada City, stepchildren Jodie, Lance and Lindsey Campbell, and two sisters, Keri Adams of Palmdale and Denise Mitchell of Wheaton, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
