Police blotter: Distressed dog won’t stop barking

Wednesday

7:34 a.m. — A caller reported a suspicious car in the parking lot of a school on the 100 block of Park Avenue.



9:38 a.m. — A caller said someone broke into a vehicle parked on the 700 block of Old Tunnel Road Tuesday night.

10:13 a.m.— A woman on the 700 block of Old Tunnel Road reported that someone rummaged through her unlocked vehicle, but nothing was taken.




12:22 p.m.— A caller reported a dog was locked in a silver Ford for 5 minutes at a parking lot on the 100 block of East McKnight Way. It was unknown whether the dog was distressed.

2:44 p.m.— A caller on the 600 block of Partridge Road reported two males and a female were walking around the neighborhood and looking at people’s homes. They were last seen headed toward Highway 174.

5:01 p.m.— A woman on Walsh Street/Scotia Pines Circle reported someone attempted to kidnap her daughter earlier during the day.

Thursday

4:46 a.m.— A woman on the 100 block of Park Street reported that someone is creeping around her residence. She saw the person ducked behind the washer and dryer that was in her driveway.

8:47 a.m.— A caller on the 10000 block of Banner Court reported a suspicious vehicle pulling up to her residence.

10:05 a.m.— A caller on Lakeside Lane reported a suspicious person pounding on a house.

10:36 a.m.— A caller reported a dog was locked in a silver Chrysler sedan for over an hour in the back parking lot of a school on the 10000 block of Spenceville Road. The dog was barking non-stop.

3:47 p.m.— A caller on Rough and Ready Highway/Squirrel Creek Road reported a suspicious male was staring at students of a school then walked toward Rough and Ready Highway.

6:10 p.m.— A caller on the 10000 block of Highway 20 reported having a physical altercation with someone.

10:26 p.m.— A woman on the 10000 block of Pine Peak Road reported having jewelry stolen from her house during renovations.

10:27 p.m.— A caller on the 20000 block of Hydraulic Way stated his sister punched him in the face during an argument.

10:27 p.m.— A caller on the 10000 block of Jones Bar Road reported someone broke into his house. The caller has a list of missing items.

3:49 a.m.— A caller on the block of 10000 Birchville Road reported his mother was locked in her bedroom after having an argument with his father.

3:11 a.m.— A caller at a supermarket on the 300 block of Zion Street reported a male screaming racial slurs while walking down Sacramento Street.

9:53 p.m.— A caller at Chief Kelly Drive/West Broad Street reported a group of people arguing and swearing.
