Nevada County Police Blotter: Woman calls 911 to report being called selfish

8:03 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 1100 block of East Main Street reported vandalism in a possible attempted burglary.
9:22 a.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Idaho Maryland Road reported a person tried to run the caller off the highway and hit the caller’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. The suspect said it was the original caller who ran him off the road. The CHP was handling the situation.
10:28 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported the theft of license plates.
10:50 a.m. — A caller from the 2700 block of Ridge Road reported a power line was down and blocking the road.
11:18 a.m. — A caller from the 700 block of West Main Street reported a juvenile assaulting staff. The juveniles was cited on an unknown charge.
11:25 a.m. — A caller reported a fraud.
2:31 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of East Main Street reported a man tried to steal bicycles from a garage before fleeing. He could not be located.
4:22 p.m. — A man from the 800 block of South Auburn Street reported having been assaulted by another man.
4:50 p.m. — A man reported finding mail in his trash can.
6:25 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Mill Street reported someone throwing rocks at vehicles. No one was located.
11:56 p.m. — A man from Redwood Drive reported people shining laser lights into his windows.

12:16 a.m. — A caller from New Rome Road reported a neighbor tried to run a man over intentionally. The incident as described sounded more like reckless driving.
9:55 a.m. — A man from Oro Valley Road reported fraudulent activity and money loss via the internet.
11:54 a.m. — A caller from Park View Drive reported finding pellet gun holes in windows.
2:08 p.m. — A caller from Pammy Way reported an internet scam with no loss of money.
2:54 p.m. — A caller from Bitney Springs Road reported identity theft.
6:12 p.m. — A caller from Sweetland Road reported the property was being broken into with a gate taken down. It appeared to have been trespassers.
6:23 p.m. — A caller reported someone had pointed a green laser light at an aircraft, with no injuries to the pilot.

10:41 a.m. — A caller from Wyoming Road reported vandalism to a vacant lot.
7:16 p.m. — A woman from Broad Street reported a person yelled across the street at her that she was selfish. She was advised of proper 911 usage.
9:41 p.m. — A caller from a business on Broad Street reported a man harassing customers outside. He had been “86ed” from the bar and had violent body language. He was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public as well as on an out of county warrant.
