Nevada County police blotter: Suspicious person in brown shirt ends up making delivery

GRASS VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT
10:06 a.m. — A caller near the corner of Mill Street and Bank Street reported seven or eight people blocking the alley, making the caller uncomfortable. The people were gone when officers arrived.
11:13 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Marshall Street reported theft of tools the previous night from her son's truck parking in the driveway.
12:50 p.m. — A caller in the police station reported ongoing issues with neighbors throwing loud parties almost every night and last night a sweatshirt was stolen from her car.
2:12 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Catherine Lane reported a man entered the kitchen of the facility twice after being asked to leave. The person was admonished.

5:45 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of North Church Street requested contact regarding someone either casing her residence or more of a peeping Tom. The caller said a neighbor had a picture of the person looking down into houses on the street.
7:28 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of West Main Street reported her vehicle tires were slashed.
8:28 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Brunswick Road reported her deceased father's car had been moved and was now at a business, while the subject was fleeing the scene on foot with two dogs and another female. The situation was mediated.
11:46 p.m. — A vehicle stop near the corner of Carol Drive and Doris Drive resulted in the arrest of a person on suspicion of possession of a narcotic, giving a false ID and a probation violation.
5:11 a.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Sutton Way reported someone urinating in front of a business.
5:27 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Broad Street reported someone sitting in front of a nearby business and requested an officer to watch her get into her vehicle. An arrest was made on charges of disorderly conduct and a probation violation.
NEVADA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
8:49 a.m. — The office received a call after a key fob activation. The owner set it off by accident.
9:42 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Peardale Road reported a dog bite that took place approximately two weeks ago.
11:18 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported being the victim of an online scam for the purchase of a fifth wheel trailer from Kansas.
11:26 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Lazy Valley Road reported a verbal and potentially physical threats from a previous tenant.
11:28 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Banner Lava Cap Road reported a tall man wearing a brown shirt and blue jeans walking around the front area of the house, calling the caller's name. The person had possibly tried to open doors as well and the caller didn't recognize the person. The person was a delivery company employee.
1:18 p.m. — A caller from Kingston Lane reported a possible drugging incident at school last week.
2:50 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Cement Hill Road reported a disturbance with yelling heard. The caller said someone is taking items from his residence that he isn't allowed to take. The subject moved on.
3:42 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Sharon Way reported a motorhome parking in the driveway that had a sunshade pulled that displays the message "need help, call police." Officers found no crime.
3:49 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Tom Ray Drive reported returning home and his door was wide open. He didn't believe anything was missing and believed it was his landlord that he has been having issues with.
4:18 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Names Drive reported that a home was "ransacked."
4:36 p.m. — A caller from Jayhawk Drive reported missing children that didn't get off the bus as scheduled. The children returned.
4:55 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Lyre Place reported the theft of three dogs by her ex husband. The dogs were returned.
8:52 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Brunswick Drive reported hearing a single gun shot. Another caller reported three gun shots.

12:25 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Broad Street reported someone sitting on a bench screaming obscenities at people. The person was provided a ride home.
