Nevada County Police Blotter: Person claiming law enforcement stole money arrested for trespassing

Grass Valley Police Department

Thursday

7:54 a.m. — A caller from the 1500 block of Mulberry Drive reported someone walking on the neighbor’s property and urinating in front of the caller.



8:41 a.m. — A caller from Glasson Way reported theft of a wheelchair. The people were using the wheelchair to pick up someone with a possible broken leg and would be returned.

8:43 a.m. — A caller near the corner of Brunswick Road and Nevada City Highway reported a propane truck driver ran a red light while talking on a cell phone.



10:24 a.m. — A caller from the Grass Valley Police Department demanded to speak to an officer about money stolen by law enforcement. A person was arrested on charges of trespassing.

2:09 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported three juveniles throwing knives at a tree. The knives were around 8 inches according to the caller. The juveniles were counseled.

5:58 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Bank Street reported a drunk person who fell the previous night and now a room was covered in blood.

8:34 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Bank Street reported three or four juveniles acting suspicious. Officers found they were not juveniles and had stepped outside to smoke.

9:49 p.m. — A person was stopped on the 700 block of Freeman Lane. A person was arrested on charges of public intoxication.

Friday

1:15 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a man sleeping by Dumpsters and hadn’t moved in 20 minutes.

4:11 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported her son ran away. The juvenile was found at home sleeping, not missing.

12:41 a.m. — A caller from Sutton Way reported a woman in a store saying she was thrown from a vehicle.

2:23 a.m. — a caller from Neils Meade Drive reported someone in his driveway asking to by drugs.

10:08 a.m. — A caller from Frontier Lane reported a sick fox lying in the caller’s backyard. The fox tried to stand up and then fell back down.

2:31 p.m. — A caller from Rattlesnake Road reported her roll up door was open on her workshop that is normally shut and locked. She didn’t believe anything was missing.

3:57 p.m. — A caller from Rising Sun Road reported a man came in and went into his room and got a gun and was “tripping” on acid and out of his mind. The caller said the man knows the landlord and had to rights to be there.

7:59 p.m. — A caller from Camptonville reported a truck dragging a boat without a trailer up and down the road.

10:36 p.m. — A caller from Pioneer Way reported 1 or two cars were driving up and down the street for the previous hour. The caller didn’t have a description but knew they were the same vehicles due to headline configurations.

10:38 p.m. — A caller from Heritage Place reported hearing something bang against her door and then heard footsteps in the area. The caller didn’t look to see if it was the bear that had been in the area for the last week.

6:08 p.m. — A caller from South Pine Street reported an intoxicated woman stumbling on and off the sidewalk.
