Nevada County Police Blotter: Grass Valley restaurant reports a dine and dash

Grass Valley Police Department

Monday

7:20 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 700 block of Taylorville Road reported a dine and dash with the suspects leaving in a vehicle.

10:49 a.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported the theft of medications at the skate park.

12:58 p.m. — A man from the 1100 block of East Main Street reported a man threatened to beat him up because he didn’t give him a cigarette.

3:41 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 400 block of Brunswick Road reported a semi-truck with a flat bed drove over a curb, breaking sprinklers and causing water to run everywhere. The truck also hit a light pole. The truck could not be located.

5:11 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Springhill Drive reported finding a used syringe and an abandoned vehicle.

Tuesday

5:11 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Chapel Street reported a man with a flashlight looking into mailboxes. He could not be located.

6:47 a.m. — A caller from Khalid Court reported an abandoned stolen vehicle.

7:36 a.m. — A caller from Francis Drive reported a toolbox and car stereo stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

8:22 a.m. — A caller from Combie Road and Amber Court reported the theft of mail.

8:54 a.m. — A caller reported an assault, as well as physical abuse to a child and intoxicated driving.

10:11 a.m. — A caller from Twin Star Lane reported a dog killed a sheep.

11:51 a.m. — A caller from Sun Forest Drive reported receiving fraudulent mail.

3:26 p.m. — A caller from Allison Ranch Road and Southern Mill Place reported a package stolen from a mailbox.

8:29 p.m. — A caller from Gold Hill Drive reported a woman broke into a residence and now was locked in the garage and was hiding behind some boxes, She had entered the home and caused some damage.

Monday

9:43 a.m. — A woman reported fraudulent use of her bank account that happened when her card was skimmed at a business on Sacramento Street.

11:49 a.m. — A woman from Jordan Street reported a woman on foot claimed the caller struck her with her vehicle. The pedestrian started recording her and was shouting, and was unreasonable and hostile.

12:10 p.m. — A caller from Zion Street reported a woman was dumping trash and when she was confronted, she started walking toward the caller with a rock in her hand. She could not be located.
