Nevada County Police Blotter: Caller, in a war with evil, needed to talk to someone he could trust

Grass Valley Police Department
7:14 a.m. — A caller near the intersection of the Golden Center Freeway and West Empire Street reported a milk carton in the road.
9:07 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Sutton Way reported a vehicle parked near the front of a store with no front or rear license plates, occupied by a man and woman. The caller said they were up to no good. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
9:44 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a woman in the middle of the road. Another caller reported a woman just walked in front of her vehicle yelling at people. An arrest was made on charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
10:14 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a vehicle parked with people surrounding it looking/smelling/smoking vials of substances.

1:23 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of Highway 49 and West McKnight Way reported a semi with a roof coming off.
1:32 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Old Tunnel Road reported witnessing an assault between a man and woman. The caller watched the man throw down the woman and the man then chased her.
3:18 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of South Church Street and Neal Street reported someone just tried to steal her vehicle. The caller said she pulled the woman out of her vehicle, then followed the people who were trying to hide. A report was taken.
3:44 p.m. — A caller hung up. Two additional calls were received. Another call had a man whispering into the phone saying don't speak don't speak don't speak, then say they are going to kill me, then don't speak, then started swearing and disconnected.
4:56 p.m. — A caller near the corner of Mill Street and Neal Street reported 60 protesters on the corner harassing and yelling at people as they go by.
5:26 p.m. — A caller on the 100 block of Lucas Lane reported someone had gone through her vehicle. The caller said she sent out an email to the neighborhood and it appeared it happened to other vehicles in the area as well.
6:19 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a theft. An arrest was made on charges of receiving known stolen property and a probation violation.
7:43 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a shoplifter just left the store after taking alcohol and donuts. An arrest was made on charges of petty theft.
10:53 p.m. — A caller near the corner of Plaza Drive and Brunswick Road reported people involved in an earlier fight were yelling and the caller could hear what sounded like wood smacking on the pavement.
12:38 a.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Plaza Drive reported he was in a war with evil after saying a name and now his spirit is after the caller. The caller was standing by saying he needs someone to respond that he can trust.
5:04 a.m. — A caller from the 1900 block of Nevada City Highway reported a man in a business that said he wanted to be a confidential informant for human trafficking and wanted to speak to an officer.

9:17 a.m. — A caller from East Drive reported theft from an unlocked vehicle.
10:22 a.m. — A caller from Norlene Way reported a driver over the double yellows attempting to catch up to a vehicle. An arrest was made on charges of driving on a suspended license, reckless driving and violation of post release community supervision.
11:05 a.m. — A caller from Sunset Avenue reported four vehicles broken into the previous night. The caller was too upset to give a correct location and his mother advised he'd be standing by.
11:09 a.m. — A caller from Missouri Ridge Drive reported hiding in her tent because another renter had been bullying her. The caller later said the person left and she was fine and leaving.
2:20 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of Highway 20 and Melody Road reported a man was at the location bloody. The caller disconnected. The patient was transported.
3:47 p.m. — A caller from Penn Valley reported someone who was restrained from the property who was there, extremely drunk and talking to himself. An arrest was made on charges of public intoxication.
6:14 p.m. — A caller from Blind Shady Road reported returning home and finding a suspicious vehicle parked on her property.
10:11 p.m. — A caller from Industrial Place reported a suspicious vehicle driving slowly through the area.

7:53 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Zion Street reported someone entered her trailer and moved things around. A report was taken for lost medication.
9:01 p.m. — A person was stopped on Spring Street. An arrest was made on charges of public intoxication. Another arrest was made on charges of public intoxication and failure to appear.
12:08 a.m. — A caller from a business reported two men appeared to be under the influence of Ketamine and told the bartender as much. One passed out and the other didn't seem to be all there.
