Correction: Alive and well

Our advertising director thought I was dead for a few minutes this morning. Another web site had reported that The Union’s managing editor had died from a stroke. KCRA out of Sacramento also ran a streamer along the bottom of the television that also said the editor of The Union had died. The story they were referring to was about John David Bennett, the former managing editor of The Union who died at the age of 61 in Terre Haute, Ind. He was the paper ‘s managing editor from 1976 to 1980. As for my health, I am alive and well. To see the story about Mr. Bennett, just check the local news section on our web site.
