Noon legal seminars for 2021

Throughout 2021, the Nevada County Law Library will be alternating with the Nevada County Bar Association in presenting monthly “Noon Time Legal Seminars” remotely via Zoom from noon to 1 p.m. The first seminar of the year will be “Elimination of Bias,” presented on Jan. 21 by Tracy Pepper of the nonprofit, “Color Me Human.” Register by contacting Megan Sasaki at megansasaki@gmail.com. For more information on the nonprofit, visit https://www.colormehuman.org.

All seminars are presented by local attorneys and advance registration is required. The fee is $15/seminar for those offered by the Law Library and free for those offered by the Bar Association to its members, which includes MCLE (Minimum Continuing Legal Education) credit. Seminars on legal topics offered by the Law Library are geared towards the general public, and no MCLE would be offered; however, attorneys are welcome to attend.
