Colfax celebrates 100 years this weekend

Colfax residents will celebrate the centennial of the found of their town with events Saturday and Sunday.

• 8 a.m.: Garden Club plant sale

• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Quilt show, business fair, living history, model train displays, railroad film festival, rail car rides, live music



12 to 2 p.m.: Cupcakes served at depot

• 4 to 7 p.m.: Centennial Dinner and silent auction




• 7 to 9 p.m.: Victorian fashion show at Colfax Theater

• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Children’s carnival, business fair, living history, model train display, railroad film festival, rail car rides, Operation Train Safety

• 12 to 2 p.m.: Cupcakes served at the depot
