Club news: Mother Lode Toastmasters

Deborah Meadows from Sierra College and Affordable Heating/Air informed us tonight of the magic of virtual Museums. Deborah, being a Museum aficionado, has visited Museums all over the U.S., in England, Scotland, and Mexico.

Ginger Kane entertained us with her speech entitled “You Wouldn’t Believe It.” Ginger kept us in stitches as she told us the story of her husband, Max, decorating a digger tree outside of their home.

Linda Couper gave us the ins and outs of “How to Improve Your Credit Score.” Linda should know as she does this for a living … Linda was voted the best speaker who met their objectives.

Our guest Gene Chittenden was voted best Table Topics Speaker and Glen Boire voted Master of Evaluation.

Why don’t you join us Monday at 6:45 p.m. Toastmasters is a wonderful place to improve your self confidence. 640 E. Main St., Grass Valley (behind Valet Cleaners). For more information call Jessica at 263-2768.
