Banner Grange will meet today at the Grange Hall, potluck dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. with salad and dessert. Members of the Grange wish to thank Rich Schilling for our beautiful clean griddle.

Red Hat Society of Nevada County

The quarterly meeting of the Queens of the Red Hat Society of Nevada County will be held on Wednesday, July 14, at noon at the Lake Wildwood Clubhouse.



All Nevada County Queens are encouraged to attend to share chapter information and participate in the joint event planning.

These upcoming joint events include the Red Hat Hawaiian Holiday, The Annual Red Hat Christmas Party, and the 2005 Snow Train Trip to Reno.




Advance reservations for the lunch are required. For reservations or information contact Queen Cathy Fagan at cfagan@nccn.net or call 432-1974.

The Nevada County fairgrounds is planning a Red Hat Society Tea during the 2004 Nevada County Fair. The event is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 15.

The sponsors want to send a personal invitation to all Red Hat Society members in Nevada County and need your names and addresses. Each member will receive a personal invitation to the tea, which will be her entry onto the grounds that day and participation in the tea.

They have some surprises planned for the event and know your color and passion for fun will enhance the success of the fair.

All Queens are asked to forward the names and addresses of their members to Carol Scofield at carol@carolscofield.com.
