Club Brief: Mother Lode Toastmasters

Mother Lode Toastmasters meeting on Oct. 16. Did you miss it again? Well here are the highlights: Imants Kaupe’s speech, A Cup Runneth Over, was a delightful journey through his life as recorded by the mugs that runneth over from his cabinet; Anna Oates took us on another journey in her speech, From Sydney to Perth, by train; Joyce Peterman’s winning speech, Forty Assets, enlightened us on what each of us can do to help alleviate substance abuse in our community. Valleri Wilhelm gave the winning evaluation of Joyce Peterman’s speech and Richard Bannister won for best table topics. We would love to have you join us on Monday at 6:45 p.m. at Mother Lode Toastmasters for an entertaining filled evening of positive coaching, humor and laughter. Mother Lode Toastmasters meet at 640 E. Main St., Grass Valley (behind Valet Cleaners). For more information call Jessica Cymbalski at 263-2768.
