Has global warming got you down? Are you unsure of how to make long-range plans for your wardrobe? Let Haute Trash lift your spirits with a runway fashion show of eclectic recycled designs, all created to amaze and engage. Emcees Kenny Miele and Lotta Rubbish will be relentlessly questioning reality. The event takes place this evening at Wild Eye Pub in Grass Valley.

Haute Trash, a non-profit 501(c3), is a social fashion commentary satire, examining the wastefulness of American culture, and stressing the potential for transforming the way we use resources in our lives. They just celebrated 30 years of putting on trash fashion shows in Nevada County.

This tongue-in-cheek show will feature new designs (and new designers) as well as a retrospective of the past two decades, reflecting the theme of global warming.

Advance tickets are $15, available at http://www.wildeyepub.com and $20 at the door.
