The Climate Change Coalition will be showing films and holding a rally in Grass Valley on April 14.

The coalition made up of 14 area environmental and civic nonprofits will start the day at 10 a.m. at the Del Oro Theatre to show the HBO documentary “Too Hot to Handle,” about global warming. The film “Kilowatt Ours” will follow, giving tips on how to save energy.

At noon, the coalition will hold a sidewalk parade through town to Condon Park, where a rally will begin at 1 p.m. with Saul Rayo and Organic Flood playing.

People are encouraged to walk, bus, bike or carpool to the event. A special bike caravan to the event will assemble at 8:30 a.m. at the corner of South Pine and Springs streets in Nevada City.
