Clara Holley

Services for Clara B. Holley will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the Whitehurst Funeral Chapel in Los Banos. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Morgan Berry. Burial will be at the Los Banos District Cemetery.

Mrs. Holley died Monday, Jan. 24, in Gilroy. She was 84.

She was born April 8, 1920, in Park Falls, Wis. She met and married Edward Daniel Holley and they moved to California in the 1940s. In the 1960s they relocated to Los Banos and she worked for the Los Banos Unified School District as a custodian for 20 years. She and her husband traveled across country. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, all kinds of “crafty stuff,” and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.



She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward “Dan” Holley Jr. and Connie Holley of Grass Valley; sister, Doris Resch of Park Falls, Wis.; grandchildren Cindy, Alisha, Alana, Kevin, Jeremy and Jared; and great-grandchildren Emily, Brooke, Katherine and Shayne.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Whitehurst Funeral Chapel in Los Banos.
