Civil rights in the 20th century

Congratulations to the great state of California for being shot in to the 20th century. Gay marriage is the great non issue of our time. I say non issue because when gays marry, whom are they hurting? How does it effect your life if gays marry? And don’t give me the same sanctity of marriage speech please, straight people ruined that a long time ago. Like usual, California has to drag the rest of the country to its inevitable, and non discriminatory, future. A final message to the voters, don’t forget what state you live in. I like the fact that California is famous for being a beacon towards a more progressive future. Unlike much of the rest of the country, where the stasis quo reigns supreme.
