City councils made wise decision in Fireworks ban

I commend the wisdom and courage of the Grass Valley and Nevada City city councils in banning fireworks. Perhaps those opposed could make a donation to one of the charities that use the sale of fireworks for funding. I, as one who lives in fire country, will send a donation to The Fire Safety Council. The charities should look elsewhere in the future.

One idiot – there are many around on the Fourth of July – and we could lose a home or our entire community.
