Christina Danzer

Christina Danzer, 68, of Colfax, died Saturday, Jan. 1, at home.

No services are planned. Burial will be at the Colfax Cemetery in Colfax.

Mrs. Danzer was born Dec. 16, 1936, in Long Beach, to Lawrence and Dorothy (Lewis) Barch. She attended school in the Long Beach area, and lived in Long Beach and Paramount while growing up. She attended college in Long Beach and studied nursing. She married Kenneth Danzer Jr. on Dec. 2, 2000, in Virginia City, Nev. She had been a resident of Colfax for 15 years. She enjoyed traveling, where she had traveled to England, New York and San Francisco. She was a birdwatcher and enjoyed interior decorating.



She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Danzer Jr. of Colfax; sons Robert Jinkins of Los Angeles, and John Jinkins of Huntington Beach; daughter, Kathleen Yost of Sacramento; sister, Babe Bische of Grass Valley; five grandchildren; and two nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sutter Auburn Faith Hospice, 11795 Education St., Suite 224, Auburn 95602.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
