Child performers capture the holiday spirit

Children play hammered dulcimers at Victorian Christmas.
ALL | GrassValleyArchive

One of the most delightful sights at Victorian Christmas is our local children singing and playing Christmas music amongst the vendors and entertainers. The children dress in Victorian garb and add to the old fashioned feeling of days gone by.

They put out their hats or instrument cases so that spectators can show their appreciation for a job well done. This memorable experience is part of the spirit that is created by staging such a wonderful event replicating a turn of the century Christmas celebration.

Some of this year’s Victorian Christmas child entertainers are: Becca Leman, Katie, Jenny and Than Harpainter, Mackenzie and Flannery Hild, Liana Campus, Teddy & Lyle Marks, Nicholas, Gabriel & Aliya Ingersol, Nicole Ridgewell, Dulcimers – Dylan, David & Apollo and the Emerald Mist String trio.
