Cherie Muswieck

A Mass will be celebrated for Cherie Lee Muswieck of Redding at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Grass Valley. Graveside services will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Grass Valley.



Mrs. Muswieck died Monday, Feb. 18, in Redding. She was 28.




She was born Sept. 12, 1973, in Grass Valley to Russell Hayden and Joan Selleck. She graduated from high school in Redding and received an associate of arts degree from Shasta College. She worked as an interior designer for Flexstelle in Redding. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She was a poet.

She is survived by husband, Robert Muswieck of Anderson; mother, Joan Selleck of Penn Valley; father, Russell Hayden of Redding; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Mike Ball of Shasta Lake City; grandmother May Hayden of Redding; grandparents Ruth and Gilbert Lee of Penn Valley; three nieces; one nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
