Cheney a profiteer

Was (Dick) Cheney being “straight” with the people when he failed to even address Edwards’ comment pointing out that under Cheney’s leadership Haliburton took advantage of all the offshore tax evasion it could find? I don’t think so.

Haliburton is charging the U.S. taxpayers $30 apiece for hamburgers they serve to soldiers in Iraq. These solders get paid poverty wages to protect Haliburton truck drivers who are getting paid $100,000 a year. But Cheney and Haliburton insisted that no Iraqi workers be hired and that U.S. corporations do all work in Iraq.

Iraqi workers would not need to be protected by U.S. troops whose presence would tend to make them targets. Cheney is a war profiteer.
