Check your bill for a bogus fee from waste company

Receiving my bill in June from a local waste company, I noticed that there was an added charge. Calling my neighbors, I found that some have this charge, where others do not.

“02/01/08 Debit prorated fel minual pi eff 02/01/08.”

Calling the waste company, I found that they had no knowledge of the charge, but would check into it and call me. Called twice, no information. Called again, was told that the billing department had made an error, and I would be credited the amount. Asking about others that have this charge, will they be credited too? “No, the customer will have to call us.” This is not acceptable – they made the mistake and are responsible to make the correction, right? I asked for a supervisor in the credit department to call me. I wonder long that will be?



Check your bill, call them and give them your view on this. Not good business, I say!
