Is this “politics” in the worst sense of the word in the district supervisor race? An Olivia Diaz supporter writes (Sept. 16) to complain of Nate Beason’s “vitriolic attacks” about pre-Labor Day sign postings. (Now, there’s a serious campaign issue!)

How quickly this man has forgotten that, just before the primary election, Diaz was exposed in a front-page article in The Union for grossly and unfairly distorting Beason’s positions by quoting him totally out of context. In fact, a Union editorial soundly criticized Diaz as one of only two candidates who resorted to dirty politics during the primary.

Check the record and The Union articles. Then vote for Nate Beason.
