Charles Treadway obituary

Private memorial services for Charles “Chuck” Benjamin Treadway of Grass Valley will be conducted at a later date in central Oregon.

Mr. Treadway died Sunday, May 21, in Grass Valley. He was 68.

He was born June 19, 1937, in Coolidge, Ariz., to Clarence E. and Molly “Beatrice” Treadway. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1959. He graduated from Morley High School, Long Beach City College and real estate training. He married Cheryl Ann on Jan. 2, 2000, in Reno, Nev. He was a retired real estate broker. He was a Mason in Willametie Valley, Ore. He enjoyed trapshooting, gardening, hunting and fishing.



He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ann Treadway of Grass Valley; daughters Tina Bowlin of Bend, Ore., Tamilynn Womack of Kelso, Wash., Shari Treadway of Kelso, Wash.; son, Gary Treadway of Junction City, Ore.; brothers Theland Treadway of Auburn, and Bud Treadway of Madras, Ore.; sister, Edwadean Martin of Roseville; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran’s Guest House, 880 Locust St., Reno, Nev. 89502-0348.




Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
