Sunday’s open house celebration at the Center for the Arts will include entertainment and complimentary food and beverages.

Those groups include Art from the Heart, Bear River High School, Bitney Springs Charter High School, Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra, Community Players, Foothill Swing Dancers, Foothill Theatre Company, Forest Charter School, Grass Valley Downtown Association, Movement Alliance, Music in the Mountains, Nevada County Arts Council, Nevada County Poetry Series, Nevada County Performing Arts Guild, Pioneer Arts, Nevada City School of the Arts, Sierra Dance Institute, WinterStage, You Can Paint and Yuba River Charter School.

In addition, ongoing tours of the main theater, Off Center Stage, galleries, classroom space and dance studios will be given. Lisa Stine will play background harp music.

The free celebration is from 3 to 7 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 5 p.m.
