Someone recently wrote about antiwar protesters. How deluded do you have to be to think that those protesters are against the troops? I recently participated in a candlelight vigil for the 1,000-plus soldiers who have died in Iraq. They are not fighting for our freedoms. They are tools of the Bush administration in a war for oil.

When you see us with candles or signs, we are showing our support for the troops. We want them to come home, to live. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Greed is killing your sons and daughters, the protesters aren’t.

There are five weeks until the most important election in our lifetime. Open your mind to the possibility that Bush is on the side of big corporations which are all looking out for their bottom line. Watch “Fahrenheit 9/11”, watch C-Span, avoid Faux News, go to, and enter “Bin Laden Bush.” Educate yourself. Vote responsibly.
