Carolyn Rich

Private services for Carolyn Rich of Nevada City will be conducted.

Mrs. Rich died Tuesday, Oct. 17, at a local care facility. She was 76.

She was born July 14, 1930, in Blackwell, Okla., to Walter and Bobby Cramer. She graduated from Burbank High School in Southern California. She married Lamar Rich on April 23, 1952, in San Diego. She worked as a seamstress for Mylady’s Shop in Nevada City. She was a member of the Nevada City Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing and traveling.



She is survived by her husband, Lamar Rich; son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Lisa Rich; daughter and son-in-law Wendye and Jim Stuller; sisters Cathryn Tozer and Joan Cramer; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Rich.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Center at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital.
