Caregivers honored

The Grass Valley Public Authority office held their 3rd Annual Provider Appreciation event. This year’s event had an “Angel” theme and was held in conjunction with National Caregivers Month. The In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority thanked all of the care providers for their hard work, dedication and commitment in serving the IHSS consumers in Western Nevada County. Providers celebrated the event with dessert, refreshments and a game of “Provider Jeopardy.” Pictured left to right, front row: Julia Strach, Chrissie Johnson, Jamie Fillipi, Tiffany Martin, Cindy Pekarek, Teresa Myers, Judy Uren and Consuelo Lopez.
