Byron F. Kehew of Nevada City died Aug. 29 in Roseville. He was 82.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.

Mr. Kehew was born March 24, 1926, in Lompoc. He graduated from high school and attended community college. He married his wife, Betty, on July 26, 1969. He was an audio specialist and a member of the Sierra Muzzleloaders. He enjoyed Square Dance Calling and black powder shooting.

Mr. Kehew is survived by his wife, Betty of Nevada City; daughter, Krestine of Walnut Creek, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1710 Gilbreth Road, Burlingame, CA 94010-1795.
