The Curious Forge offers workforce development program

The Curious Forge is seeking qualifying participants for a free, entry level, 12-week metal fabrication workforce development certificate program.

Funds for this program are provided through a Nevada County Community Block Grant.

This 12-week certificate program, developed in coordination with several local fabrication shops, is a fast-tracked training opportunity in metal fabrication and welding skills for Nevada County residents who meet the required criteria for free sponsorship. In addition to Metal Fabrication skills, participants will gain professional development in related workforce skills such as math for fabrication, safety, and communication. This course will include video, readings, writing modules and hands-on project based learning.
