Tahoe Donner hosts winter job fair

Tahoe Donner is hosting a winter job fair from 3 to 7 p.m. Nov. 13 and from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 6 p.m. Nov. 14. at the Northwoods Clubhouse located at 11509 Northwoods Blvd., Truckee.

Positions are available at Tahoe Donner downhill and cross country ski areas, and Tahoe Donner Snowplay.

Voted best place to work in 2014, Tahoe Donner Association employees enjoy free access to the downhill and cross-country ski areas.

In addition, employees have free gym access at Trout Creek Recreation Center, and generous food and retail discounts.

Interested applicants will have the opportunity to interview with hiring managers for a wide variety of seasonal positions.

Those include:

Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area

Lift operators, parking attendants and scanners, custodians, groomers, ski patrol director, ski patrol, ski and snowboard instructors (non-certified), ski and snowboard instructors (certified), ski school supervisor, rental fitters, boot fitters, food and beverage cashiers, cooks, ticket sellers, seasonal ski area mechanic, mountain operation supervisor, bus driver — Class B with passenger endorsement.

Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Area

Groomers, ski patrol, instructors, custodians, parking attendants, on-call snow removal, kitchen supervisor, bartender.

Tahoe Donner Snowplay

Snowplay supervisor, Snowplay attendant.

Interested candidates are encouraged to fill out an application prior to the event or come prepared to fill one out.

Applicants will be interviewed for up to three different positions.
