Open house to connect couples, wedding vendors on Saturday

Brides-and grooms-to-be can visit the Roots Reclaimed rental showroom and The Studio Collective space from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday for an open house designed to help couples scout vendors for the big day.

The open house at 603 Mill St., in Grass Valley, will feature a variety of vendors showcasing wedding and reception ideas, including bridal demos and styled vignettes. Both Roots Reclaimed, which offers vintage event rentals, and The Studio Collective, which offers a communal studio space for wedding professionals in the area, are owned by Nicole Miller and Beth Lowetz, Members of The Studio Collective — from hair and makeup artists to florists to photographers — can use the space, which includes the vintage rentals warehouse, a meeting area, a kitchen and a private office area, to meet one-on-one with clients, conduct photo shoots or to advertise their services.

Meanwhile, couples who are planning their weddings can utilize both businesses to connect to a network of vendors and browse a selection of vintage rentals at one location.
