Burton Holm

A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m., April 14, at the Nevada City Elks Lodge, 518 Highway 49, Nevada City for Burton W. Holm. Private inurnment services will be at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes in Sacramento. Mr. Holm passed away at his home in Nevada City on March 14 with his family at his bedside. He was 81.

Mr. Holm was a World War II Navy veteran. He retired in 1990 from Raley’s after 17 years of employment and was a member of Teamsters Local 150 for 35 years. He enjoyed living in the foothills, camping in his fifth wheel, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Holm is survived by his wife of 54 years, Thelma; sons and daughters-in-law Michael and Christi and Gary and Dawn; son, Kevin; daughter and son-in-law, Janis and Jerry Perna; and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
