Broad Street paving project done ahead of schedule

Broad Street in Nevada City reopened Wednesday morning to all traffic after a federal stimulus-funded re-paving project.

The job was completed in two nights, rather than the four nights estimated earlier.

City Manager Gene Albaugh complimented the entire team working on the project for a job well done: Contractor Hansen Bros.; City Engineer Bill Falconi; Public Works Director Doug Hobbs; Nevada City Public Works staff and Nevada City Police Department.
