We welcome you to join us at Solid Rock Christian Fellowship, where our goal is to study God’s word and strive to build stronger families and relationships with God.

Worship services start at 11 a.m. with uplifting praise and worship music led by Senior Pastor Jim Edwards. Pastor Jim will continue from the series “God’s Masterpiece.”

Our midweek Adult Bible Study is Wednesday at 7 p.m. We challenge Christians to live victoriously, grow spiritually, and to know God intimately through the daily reading and study of His word.

Christian Science Church

“Love” is the topic for this week’s Bible lesson sermon on Sunday. The Golden Text is from 1 John: “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God.” The promise of God’s unfailing love is present now. Hear this read at the 10 a.m. service. These same ideas will be the basis for Sunday School, which meets at the same time. Wednesday evening meetings are at 7:30 and offer an opportunity for those healed through spiritual means alone to express gratitude.

The church is located at 375 Crowne Point Circle in Whispering Pines. For more information, call 273-9452.

The Reading Room is a combination library, bookstore, a center for spiritual discovery and exploration and a place to find answers to one’s relationship to God. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. For more information, call 273-0790.

Sierra Pines United Methodist Church offers two regular services, contemporary at 9 a.m. and traditional at 10:30 a.m.

On Saturday, tickets go on sale at the church between 10 a.m. and noon for the hilarious mystery dinner presentation of the “Reading of Aunt Louise’s Will.”

Featured will be the Sierra Pines Community Players and includes special surprise entertainment.
