BRHS puts on Ritz again

Bear River High School’s award-winning choral groups will present show tunes, jazz standards, popular songs and a revue of “Forty-Second Street” in the annual “Puttin’ on the Ritz” show this weekend.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the school’s multipurpose room..

The Women’s Chorus will perform on Friday. The Women’s Ensemble will be highlighted at both Saturday shows. The Men’s Chorus, Starlite Express and Jazz Unlimited will be in all three shows.



Vocal jazz choir Jazz Unlimited and show pop ensemble Starlite Express have scored highly recently at the Folsom, Santa Cruz and Reno jazz festivals and the RAVES Redding Jazz and Show Pop Festival.

A few tickets are still available for each show at the BRHS Student Store or at the door. Admission is $8 for adults and $7 for students and seniors.
