‘Breakfast in the Park’ benefits Hospice of the Foothills

Celebrating 22 years in Nevada County, Friends of Hospice, which is an auxiliary of the nonprofit Hospice of the Foothills, will hold a “Breakfast in the Park” Sunday at St. Canice Social Hall.

Eggs, pancakes, sausages, juice, fruit, coffee and tea will be served from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All proceeds from the breakfast will go to Hospice of the Foothills, an organization serving terminally ill patients and their families.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. A drawing will also be held. Tickets for the breakfast and the drawing are available at the door, at the Hospice office (12399 Nevada City Highway) and at the Hospice Gift and Thrift Stores in Grass Valley, Penn Valley and Colfax.

St. Canice Social Hall is at 236 Reward Street, off of Zion St., in Nevada City.
